Richard is an experienced Commercial Director and Quantity Surveyor with over 20 years of delivering major residential, mixed-use and complex construction projects across London and the wider UK. He is known for strong commercial leadership, tight cost control and the ability to manage high-value, multi-phase developments from inception through to final account.
Most recently at Berkeley Homes, Richard led commercial teams across three high-rise mixed-use schemes with a combined build cost of £693 million. His role covered cost planning, procurement, contract administration, stakeholder management and board-level reporting, while driving value engineering and maintaining commercial governance across multiple phases.
Richard holds an LLM in Construction Law & Dispute Resolution and a BSc (Hons) in Construction Management, giving him a strong technical and contractual foundation. He brings a collaborative approach, a focus on performance, and a proven ability to build and lead teams that deliver real value for clients.
