Ben Gates (MRICS, ACIArb) is a highly experienced Commercial Director / Managing Director with over 20 years of delivering commercial leadership across major residential, infrastructure and civil engineering projects in the UK. He brings a practical, contractor-focused approach, backed by strong expertise in commercial management, contracts and procurement.
Ben has played a key role in delivering some of the UK's most complex schemes, including Berkeley Group's £450m 250 City Road development, as well as major programmes such as London Bridge Station Redevelopment, Crossrail, Thameslink and National Grid. His experience spans NEC, NR12 and Design & Build contracts, alongside managing high-value packages within demanding project environments.
Alongside project delivery, Ben is committed to developing talent and improving industry standards. He has supported training and mentoring across commercial teams and brings a clear focus on helping clients achieve commercially predictable, well-managed and high-quality outcomes.
